Your Independent Grocer (also known as Independent) is a supermarket chain that is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, they have over 100 locations in every province and territory except for Nunavut, Manitoba and Quebec.
History[]
Your Independent Grocer was founded back in the year 1992 after the Steinberg's chain was bought out by Metro, as a result, Loblaws created a separate chain. The chain began expanding into Atlantic Canada by the year 2014 after SaveEasy ended up being rebranded into the Your Independent Grocer branding, by the year 2018, many locations began delivery through Instacart.
