White Marsh Mall is a two-level shopping mall 17.2 miles (27.7 km) northeast of downtown Baltimore, Maryland, between Perry Hall Boulevard, Honeygo Boulevard, Sandpiper Circle, Campbell Boulevard and White Marsh Boulevard in White Marsh, a suburb of Baltimore. The mall has four open anchors which are Boscov's, JCPenney, Macy's and Macy's Home Store.
History[]
On August 12, 1981, the White Marsh Mall opened to the public, developed by The Rouse Company. The mall had five original anchors which were Bamberger's, Hutzler's, JCPenney, Sears and Woodward & Lothrop. In October 1986, Bamberger's was converted into Macy's. In 1990, Hutzler's closed and the space was taken over by Hecht's in 1992. In 1995, Woodward & Lothrop closed and the space was taken over by Lord & Taylor in 1998. In 2004, Lord & Taylor closed and was quickly replaced with Hecht's Home Store. In September 2006, Macy's relocated to the former Hecht's space while Hecht's Home Store was converted into Macy's Home Store, the original Macy's space was then replaced with Boscov's. In December 2017, Dave & Buster's opened in the shared space with Macy's Home Store, along with Buffalo Wild Wings. In February 2020, Sears closed down.
