RioCan Centre Belcourt is a power centre development in Orléans, Ontario, a suburb of Ottawa. Its located directly next to Smartcentres Orléans, another power centre. Its current anchors are Rona+, Toys "R" Us, Food Basics, and Landmark Cinemas.

History[]

RioCan Centre Belcourt started construction at the beginning of 2009, the site was developed by Trinity Group. The first tenants opened in December 2009. Empire Theatres, which moved from its former Orleans Town Centre location, opened on December 18th, 2009.

By 2010, other major tenants opened, including Lowe's Home Improvement and Food Basics. Other tenants that opened with the property include Five Guys, Booster Juice, East Side Mario's, Subway, and MOVATI Athletic.

In 2014, Toys "R" Us and Babies "R" Us opened their new locations at RioCan Centre Belcourt. In the same year, a new section was built which includes Dollar Tree, Pita Pit, H&R Block, among other retailers.

In June 2015, the Empire Theatres at RioCan Centre Belcourt was converted to Landmark Cinemas after Empire Theatres ended operations.

By the end of 2023, Lowe's was converted to Rona+ after Lowe's left the Canadian market. Both stores are similar to each other.

Today, RioCan Centre Belcourt remains a popular place to shop, eat, and watch movies in the area.
