Olean Center Mall is a one-level shopping mall located in downtown Olean, New York, between North Union Street, Delaware Avenue and Olean Creek in the city of Olean. The mall has two open anchors which are JCPenney and Kohl's.

History[]

Olean Center Mall opened in 1976 and was developed by Zamias Services. The mall's original anchors were AM&A's and Hills, as well as a three-screen cinema, the theater was added an additional four-screen later on, then finally five-screens in 1990. In 1993, the theater closed down and was replaced with a JCPenney. In 1994, AM&A's was converted into Bon-Ton. In 1999, Hills was converted into Ames. In 2002, Ames closed as the chain went out of business. In 2007. JCPenney relocated to the former Ames space, while Steve & Barry's opened in the former JCPenney space. In 2009, Steve & Barry's closed down due to going out of business. In 2012. Kohl's opened in the former Steve & Barry's space.
