North Park Plaza is a shopping center located in Holland, Michigan. It includes Walmart, Sam's Club, Staples, Shoe Dept. Encore, Dollar Tree, Pet Supplies Plus, and other businesses.
History[]
In 1993, North Park Plaza was built with businesses Walmart, Sam's Club, Toys "R" Us, and other establishments. In 1994, MC Sports, Pier 1 Imports, Staples, Steak 'n Shake, and other businesses were added. Pizza Hut was built in 1995.
In 2004, Toys "R" Us permanently closed and in 2009, Big Lots opened in the space.
In 2011, Perkins abruptly closed, and on February 8, 2018, Chick-Fil-A opened on the empty lot.
In 2017, MC Sports closed due to bankruptcy and three years later, on November 8, 2019, Shoe Dept. Encore opened in it's place.
In 2019, Stake 'n Shake closed and in 2024, McAlister's Deli renovated and opened in the vacant restaurant.
In 2020, Pier 1 Imports closed because of bankruptcy and Pet Supplies Plus Opened in the vacant space.
Also in 2020, Pizza Hut closed and in 2022, Quality Car Wash opened on the vacant lot.
In October 2024, Big Lots closed due to bankruptcy.
