
Target Greatland
Milestone Center is a shopping center in Germantown, Maryland. It features Target Greatland, Walmart Supercenter, Giant Food Stores, The Home Depot, Kohl's, Best Buy, Michaels, Petsmart, T.J. Maxx, Staples, Aldi, Big Lots, Pepboys and other stores.
The shopping center also features a strip plaza behind The Home Depot.
History[]

Borders
In 1996, Milestone Center opened with Walmart Supercenter, Petsmart, T.J. Maxx, Staples, Cost Plus World Market and Applebee's. Target Greatland opened on October 6, 1996. Giant Food Stores, The Home Depot, Kohl's, Best Buy, Michaels, Pepboys, Modell's Sporting Goods and Bob Evans opened in 1997. Borders was built in 2000. Cost Plus World Market closed in 2009. It was replaced by Aldi several months later. In 2011, Borders closed after filing for bankruptcy. On July 27, 2013, Big Lots opened in its spot. In 2020, Modell's Sporting Goods closed all locations.
