Meijer
McHenry East Center is a shopping center in McHenry, Illinois. It includes Meijer, The Home Depot and The Room Place.
The Home Depot
History[]
The Home Depot opened on the right side in 2001. On May 21, 2002, Meijer opened to the public. Borders Books and Chili’s also opened in 2002. Wendy’s and a strip plaza were built in 2003. Staples opened next to The Home Depot in 2005. Borders Books closed all of their locations in 2011. In early 2013, The Room Place opened in its spot. Staples closed a few years later.
