This is all of the rules on the Malls & Retail wiki, we have a ruleset that should be followed by all users to ensure that the rules are simple to follow and all wiki users have fun on this wiki.
Editing
Creating pages
When creating pages, make sure to add infoboxes, information (ex. History or other info), and a locations or store list, (ex. McDonald's/Locations, Mic Mac Mall/Stores, and Target/Services. make sure to link these lists on the page and add categories to them, do not create copies of previously created pages or those will be deleted, if a page does not have much info, the page will be given at least 24 hours to be fully fixed if not then it will end up being deleted. If it is blank, then it will be deleted instantly.
Do not create pages that are not related to malls or retail in any way, if created will result in the pages being deleted and later on a block.
Categories
Make sure that there are categories on the page at all times to make it easier the spot for other wiki users including people that do not have accounts, please do not add non-sense categories because that would count as vandalism.
Locations, Store and Service lists
Make sure that a decent amount of locations or tenants are listed, if it only includes a few then it will be marked as a stub.
Vandalism
Vandalism means adding random non-sense onto pages, removing content or entirely blanking pages, or replacing words with swear words or slurs, this usually warrants a 1 week block and sometimes a 2 week block or a permanent block.
Templates
Make sure that templates have a decent amount of content on them, if not then they will be deleted. For more info on templates on the Malls & Retail Wiki:

Websites
Using sites such as Google Maps or Google Earth are allowed but websites that often show false info are not.
Edit warrring
Edit warring means that two or more people are constantly reverting edits on a page, depending on how bad the edit war is, the page will be protected for a certain amount of time or permanently while the person that started the edit war will be blocked.
Plagiarizing
Do not copy info from Wikipedia or use ChatGPT to write Malls & Retail wiki articles, if you do then the info pasted from the sites will be removed or the page will be deleted.
Discussions
Do not create discussion posts, messages or blog posts that are not related to malls, retail or this wiki in any way, doing this will result in the post/messages being deleted and later on a block.
Spamming posts
Do not spam posts, messages or blog posts as that could lead to a block, sometimes a permanent block.
Posts that cause arguments
Do not create posts that are meant to provoke any sort of arguments, this will result in the post being locked.
Necroposting
Do not reply to posts that were never replied to for over a month, this will result in the post being locked.
Accounts
Inappropriate usernames
Do not create accounts with any inappropriate usernames, if you create an account with inappropriate usernames, you will be asked to change it, if unchanged for 3 days, you will be blocked.
Sockpuppets
Do not create sockpuppet accounts with the only purpose being to ban-evade, if you do this, then your block length will be extended, staff can sometimes do votes to unblock certain users so you have the option to waitt.
Underage
Wiki users must be at least 13 years old to edit on this wiki, or 16 if you live in Europe(Excluding UK) or California. If you are underage, then you will be blocked until you are old enough to edit.
Behavior
Slurs
Swear words are allowed but do not say any slurs, saying any slurs will result in a permanent ban depending on the slur.
Harassment
Do not harass any of the wiki users on this wiki, if you do, you will most likely be blocked for a week or permanently.
Spamming
Do not make any non-sense pages or spam on this wiki in any-way, you will be blocked if you spam.
Doxxing
Do not dox any phone numbers, home addresses, credit card numbers and much more, doing so will result in a permanent ban and the info being deleted.
Adult Content
Do not post Adult Content(NSFW) on this wiki, doing so will result in a permanent ban and the images or videos being deleted.
Promoting
Do not promote anything on this wiki such as Discord servers, other wikis, other websites and much more unless if it has something to do with malls or retail.
