La Maison Simons (also known as Simons) is a Canadian department store headquartered in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada, being around for around 184 years, they currently have 17 locations across Canada as of March 25, 2024.

History[]

John Simons founded the chain in 1840 when he was 17 years old, he then moved his shop 30 years later in 1870 to 20 Côte de la Fabrique, skipping to 1952, after WW2 ended, new opportunities were rising for marketing this included the rise of the Simons chain, soon after it was turned into a department store. In 1961, their second location officially opened at Place Sainte-Foy, they would continue expanding across Quebec before the third millennium. In 2012, they opened their first location outside of Quebec at West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, they then expanded into British Columbia in 2015, Ontario in 2016 and Nova Scotia in 2024.
