Eastwood Mall Complex or Eastwood Mall is a one-level shopping mall 11.8 miles (18.9 km) southeast of downtown Youngstown, Ohio, between Youngstown Warren Road, Niles Cortland Road Southeast and Shaker Boulevard Southeast in Niles, a suburb of Youngstown. The mall currently have five open anchors which are Boscov's, Dillard's Clearance Center, JCPenney, Macy's and Target.

Mall History[]

Eastwood Mall opened to the public in 1969 with four anchors such as Sears, Strouss, Montgomery Ward and Woolworth. In 1979, the mall was expanded and a wing with a new anchor, JCPenney was added to the mall. In 1984, Montgomery Ward closed and the space was split between Gold's Gym, Toys R Us and Carlisle's. In 1986, Strouss was converted into Kaufmann's. In 1994, Carlisle's closed due to bankruptcy. Also in 1995, Toys R Us moved to a new store, those spaces both became Dillard's. In 2000, Target was added onto the mall. In September 2006, Kaufmann's was renamed to Macy's. Also in 2006, a food court was added to the mall near the Macy's store. In late 2007, a three-tank aquarium, known as the Equarium, was added to the center court. In 2012, construction began on a Residence Inn by Marriott hotel in the Dillard's wing. In August 2016, Dillard's was converted into a Clearance Center store. In 2017, additional renovation of the mall's entrance features and interior occurred. In October 2018, Sears had closed down. In December 2019, Tilt Studio had closed. In October 2021, Boscov's opened a store in the former Sears and Tilt Studio space.
