Bluenotes (formerly known as Thrifty's) is a Canadian clothing brand that operates over 100 locations in Canada and the United States, Bluenotes is commonly found inside malls and is currently owned by YM Inc..

Bluenotes was created as Thrifty's in 1942 opening a location in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, during the 1980's, the brand would begin expanding, by the end of the 1990's, Thrifty's had over 100 locations in Canada, by the year 2000, Thrifty's along with a few other brands were bought by American Eagle, soon after, the brand's name would change to Bluenotes, and then in 2004, the chain was sold over to YM Inc. as of today, Bluenotes still remains as a well known Canadian clothing brand.
