Bedford Commons is a retail power centre in Bedford, Nova Scotia. It is located at interchange 4C of Nova Scotia Highway 102 near Duke Street/Glendale Avenue.

History[]

Bedford Commons was built in 2007 with a Walmart location being built at the property which replaced the Lower Sackville location, a new Tim Hortons was later opened at the property by the end of 2007. Many stores opened by 2008 such as Future Shop, Reitman's, Subway, Global Pet Foods and Bulk Barn, A new Canadian Tire and Mark's combo location was built around the year 2010 along with a new Winners, PetSmart, Staples, Sport Chek and Penningtons by 2012. Future Shop closed by the year 2015 and then a new Michaels was built on the property, around this time, Payless Shoe Source also closed due to bankruptcy, the former Future Shop was replaced with a Value Village by 2019 and then in 2022, Mark's seperated from the Canadian Tire onto one the plazas while the Winners became a combo with HomeSense.
