Beacon Mall is built at the suburbs of Atlanta in 1976 by Edward J DeBartolo. The anchors the mall had are Sears, JCPenney, JB White, Parisian, Belk, and Davidson’s. The mall is later sold to Simon Property Group in 1996 and Moonbeam Capital Investments acquired the mall in 2014. In 2016, the mall closed it’s doors but tenants inside the mall had left even when the mall closed. On the entrance to the JB White wing, Ruby Tuesday closed in 2008, Piccadilly Restaurants closed in 2012, JB White became Dillard’s, and even Dillard’s closed in 2014. After that, they became an Dillard’s Clearance Center for a bit before closing in 2016. KB Toys closed in 2009 due to the lease with the mall’s owners, Simon Property Group expiring and KB closing all their remaining stores. Miller's Outpost/Anchor Blue closed in 2011 due to Miller's Outpost/Anchor Blue closing all their remaining stores. Tinkerbell, Gamestop, and Zales closed in 2012. EXPRESS closed in 2014. LensCrafters closed in 2011. Ann Taylor closed in 2016 and Parisan closed in 1995. That later became an Rich’s, then a Macy’s, and then closed in 2015. Champs Sports, GameZone (which replaced Spaceport in 1992), and the Foxmoor/Fashion Conspiracy/Aeropostale store closed in 2016. 4 independent shops closed in 2016. Prime Bags, Anime Paradise, Learning4You.com, and As Seen on TV Gadgets & Gizmos. FYE closed in 2015. The security office is closed in 2016. The owners stop paying for security in 2017. Ritz Camera closed in 2012, Calumet Photo took over the spot, and closed in 2016. Cell Town closed their kiosk in 2016. Book Fair Used Book Stores closed in 2016. H&R Block closed in 2015.
